Great Budget Accomodation near the Acropolis
The Erechthion is not the Ritz - rooms are fairly basic, although they have their own bathrooms and air conditioning. Nevertheless, they are superclean (the entrance frequently smells like pinesol as a testament to the family's commitment to cleanliness) and the family that runs the Hotel is very friendly. The hotel is on a backstreet and therefore very quiet, despite being extremely close to the cafés and restaurants of Apostolou Pavlou.
Unique Quality: Location, location, location!!! You are literally a 5 minute walk from the Acropolis or from Thiseio and there are no inconveniences about the hotel. At 40 euro a night, Hotel Erechthion is superb!
