Athen's Hole in the Wall

This place is literally a hole in the wall. It is located in Plaka near the Acropolis. If you're there to as a tourist and travelling on a budget, this is the place to be. Don't have any expectations other than the fact that there's a bed to sleep in and the bathrooms are clean. The walls are paper thin and the bathrooms are shared. But at 55 Euros (October 2006) a night compared to most hotels in that area, that's okay. The location is ideal for sightseeing and the price is cheaper that most hotels in the same area.

Unique Quality: There is nothing unique in this hotel other than the construction that occurs at 1AM in the morning across the street when I was staying there. I solved that problem by moving into a room at the opposite end of the hotel. However, this problem should not be around once you're reading this.

There is nothing unique in this hotel other than the construction that occurs at 1AM in the morning across the street when I was staying there. I solved that problem by moving into a room at the opposite end of the hotel. However, this problem should not be around once you're reading this.
