GREEK LANGUAGE AND THE EXPRESSION iT'S ALL GREEK TO ME HITS HOME .Especially in the heart of Athens and the welltrained staff could not be more helpful. Thomas the evening receptionist spoke an impressive 6 languages and having lived there for a decade was the most excellent mine of information. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. Our room was real nice and the fridge was a super wee bonus, I did hear some Germans grumble that their rooms had toilets /showers across the hall and i've seen that in other meditereanean hotels but personally can't see the problem. They also ran a travel agency and information was quickly found for travel around GREECE, OUTWITH THE CITY . a PERFECT CITY BREAK HOTEL WITH A PERSONALITY I WOULD RETURN TO AGAIN LIKE A SHOT.
sTAFF 10 OUT OF 10, ALTHOUGH THE CENTRAL LOCATION AND THE FACT IT WAS ON A QUIET STREET WAS A BIG PLUS ALSO.Around the corner was the cheapest internet cafe i have seen ,one euro an hour and super comfy executive desk seats. open 24 hours

We had a nice ,real nice room for 50 Euros. THe staff, spoke several languages, and in english were a real minefield of information, they had time to talk to you, and the pictures on the brochure were pretty accurate. Real comfortable beds. This is listed also as the hotel Rio but it is the same place and address. It is 2minutes from netcafe which has 1hours internet for 65 pence ,1 euro. Breakfast had an amazing selection of teas breads and 3 different types of coffee. Now that is choice. The hotel is run by the same people as the travel agency so there connections are brilliant. I'd imagine the large terrace would be a great place in summer.
good and plentiful breakfast ,nice wooded terrace and in a quiet street just parralel to the main square.
