Under Constrution...
by LolaSanFrancisco
I remember walking miles in the ungodly heat of Athens, up a hill that never stopped, feeling the blisters on my feet. Walking and walking and walking. Only to get into the Acropolis to find that it was under construction! I was devastated. I sulked and squinted my eyes to imagine what it would look like with out scaffolding and mesh everywhere. At the time I couldn’t believe that no one told us, or that it wasn’t somehow on the news: “ATTENTION TRAVELS!”
After logging more travels I realized this is very common and nothing to get bent about. Such is life.

go to Acropolis, Parthenon, Sounio, Kolonaki, Plaka, Vouliagmeni lake, drink frappe in the afternoon next to the see in Voula, visit Village Park, Ermou for shopping, Omonia, Sintagma, Monastiraki to eat souvlaki in Thanassi In the spring or summer, there is nothing better than drinking ouzo with meze in Plaka about 9 to 11 o'clock in the evening (or everywhere in Greece)
Milko

Socrates
