Great Boutique Hotel for a Great Price!

The Ochre & Brown hotel is an adorable boutique hotel located close to the Athens sites. You can walk to the Acropolis and also to the Psiri and Plaka areas (nightlife, shopping, restaurants). The hotel staff is very accomodating and even upgraded us to a higher level of room. The price is very reasonable (under $200EU) and it includes breakfast. The rooms are decent sized (by European standards) and the bathrooms are spacious also.
I would absolutely stay at this hotel again in the future!
Home in a foreign city top notch

We recently stayed in Athens for Three days before taking a Crystal Cruise to the Greek isles. This hotel staff was beyond the call of duty helpful. We were travelling with two friends and their teenage daughters. My luggage was lost for two days and they were tireless in their efforts to find it for me. I could not more highly reccomend this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and just as advertised. The breakfast was great and you could order anything custom made to order. The orange juice was trully homemade and delicious. The location is just steps from walking all around the Parthenon. Dont let the size (small) fool you as to the service and location. We would stay here in a heartbeat again. Last side note they were very helpful in obtaining the address of the Crystal cruise departure and arranging taxi. (one thing American Express Travel and Cyrstal cruises were not helpful with). Thanks again for the great stay.

great start to our honeymoon

Had a lovely champagne welcome (maybe due to being honeymooners...?)
They had booked a fantastic restaurant for us with an amazing view, gave us very useful tips on where to go sightseeing during the day, let us refresh before we left late in the day... basically they could not have done enough for us.
Staff is super, efficient & makes you feel like a special guest.
Rooms are new, clean, simple & beautiful (I'd say "hip").
Bathroom accessories (Shampoo etc) fantastic.
Access to centre is walking distance.
Prices are more than reasonable.
Breakfast is huge and declicious (and included in the price)
I'd definitely go back

Excellent welcome. Friendly staff. Very helpful in helping you find the best of the Psiri area and near all the sights.
The staff bent over backwards to help make my 10 day stay in Athens as relaxing as possible, booking cabs, finding health clubs, always with a great attitude. They're open, educated, great service mentality and always willing to go the extra mile to help a guest.
Ambience is modern with some well-thought out room asthetics, innovative lighting effects and (essential in central Athens) good room soundproofing. Location is great, you can saunter back from Psiri's vibrant nightlife to the hotel with no problems.
Added to my list of faves and I'm gonna stay there again soon for sure.
if you need to feel spoiled...

Situated two blocks away from the Plaka, the hotel is hidden in a very calm street. It's walking distance to the vibrant heart of Athens and to the touristic area.
Our stay was wonderful, from the concierge to the waitress, everybody looked after us. The service was flawless.
The rooms are not so big, but extremely comfortable and quiet.
A little oasis in the center of Athens.
Recommended.

We had a wonderful experience at Ochre & Brown. The hotel staff was lovely, the service wonderful and the food was delicious. We stayed in another hotel in Athens and think that Ochre & Brown was more comfortable and the ammenities were better. We happily enjoyed our stay with them.

Since we were only in Athens for two nights I wanted to find a centrally located hotel. O&B is perfect - you can walk to practically anywhere. The staff was incredibly helpful and even got us tickets to a sought after concert in a outdoor theatre near the Acropolis. The rooms are nicely decorated and everyone working there seems to be on the same page in terms of taking care of the guests.
One minor quibble and one thing to consider: The beds aren't the most comfortable I'd slept in - granted we weren't there very long but they seem a little cheap compared to how nice the rest of the hotel is. The pillows were especially stiff.
Also, the hotel is pretty much in the center of weekend nightlife so It can be noisy although they did a great job of cutting out most of it with good windows and air conditioning. This really isn't a concern to people who aren't that sensitive to it and I would bet it's very quiet on weeknights.
All in all a great experience. I'd stay there again in a minute.
Great Location, Beautiful Design, Excellent Staff

We only stayed here for one night at the beginning of our holiday, and for our final night after returning from the islands. Whilst we had a good time in Santorini and Mykonos, we were really looking forward to returning to the Ochre and Brown hotel.
The location is excellent, especially good for access to the Metro line which goes direct to Piraeus, but also for the funky Pyssri/Thissiou area, which reminded me of Hoxton/Shoreditch in London or Soho/Lower East Side in New York, with great local boutiques, bars, restaurants.
The room wasn't very large, but it was perfectly designed both aesthetically and with respect to storage and amenities (especially the bathroom), and we loved it.
Best of all were the staff. Everyone we met was cheerful, helpful, and efficient. We'd definitely stay here again on a future trip to Athens.

A wonderful boutique hotel hidden away from the vibrant streets of Plaka but within a stone's throw. On arrival, the staff were absolutely wonderful and hospitable. I was shown all aspects of the room... which was beautifully situated, very modern-chic and extremely tastefully decorated. The bar is equally as vibrant and with a wonderful restaurant serving delicious food. I loved all aspects of this hotel and will certainly stay here every time I am in Athens!

Our stay at O&B (7th-10th Jul) was really special. Its a beautiful little boutique hotel with a great location close to the main tourist attractions and restaurants but what really blew us away was how friendly and helpful the staff were in a totally non-intrusive way. Always ready to call restaurants / make bookings, cater to special requests. Anything we asked, the answer was usually ofcourse, we will take care of it! Been to many great hotels but never had such a pleasant experience.
The rooms themselves are really well decorated, spacious, comfortable and the bathrooms again large with luxurious showers. Breakfast is included and is great - not typically buffet but a wide menu where again if you want special tweaks to suit your palette they are more than ready to oblige. Very tasty too!
