Cheap stay

I could come up with a long list of four and five star hotels, but I know for sure that most of us are looking for a cheap accommodation in a central area! Remvi is small hotel in central Athens, and specifically at Patissia. You can get a room for 30 to 40 euros a night depending on the period. There is 24hr receprion and a small bar. At a quite short distance from the hotel there is a bus stop where you can catch a number of buses to the city centre and other areas, as well as a metro station where you can catch the train that crosses the whole city.

Athens - Delphi - Bus Advice

by samitbabu

Hi,
Our plan to is to reach delphi on 30th Jul and We plan to start late ( around 11 am) from Athens.

How far is the Bus station to delphi from Remvi hotel in Athens ( Pattission Street). Is it walkable or what other options to reach?

Are there buses available from 12 noon and after?
We would halt at Delphi for the nightand return back to Athens the next day.

The bus station for the Delphi bus is on Liossion which looks to be about a 10-15 minute walk westwards from your hotel - tho' because the walk will involve the side-streets it might be best to ask at your hotel for precise directions.

There's a bus to Delphi at 1300 and the journey takes about 3 to 3 and a half hours. You'll find the timetable here: http://www.athensguide.com/practicalinfo/busschedulesB.htm

That'll give you an evening out in Delphi and then you can visit the main sites the following day.

Have a good trip.
