Hi
We are two `old' holiday reps who used to work in Athens and we are having a reunion after 25 years. Apart from one brief visit, we have not seen Athens in all this time. We are staying at the Emmantina Hotel in Glyfada, which was about the only hotel around in its day to have air con, and was one of the hotels we used to visit the clients. In those days, Glyfada was a thriving resort amongst the British.
The agents we used to work through were Plotin and were based in Athens. Does anyone know anything about Plotin and whether it is still operating, and who is working there? Does anyone know anything about the Palmyra Hotel, which is across the road from the Emmantina, and was used as a catering college for a number of years? Aris used to be the Manager, and he was married to Artemis who worked behind the bar. There was also Manolis (half Greek, half Eithiopian) who worked behind reception, and Billy and George the waiters.
Mr Delios used to manage the Emmantina Hotel. Does anyone know if he is still alive?

I understand there are some travel pages/tips here on VT by members.
Thanks for the website addresses. We had already been on the sites to see if we could get any indication of who managed the places now, etc, but didn't find anything out. No doubt we will know a bit more when we get there! It would be nice if we could find someone we knew from all those years ago - I managed to when I was in Corfu last year (another place I worked in), so who knows....!
