Hotel Bratsera

Bratsera's is a typical Hydriot architecture hotel with a magnificent garden, a crystal, clear pool and most of all, with real Greek hospitality.

The Bratsera Hotel reception occupies the largest part of the hotel, with magnificent scale, it has an enchanting aura of the past. Its cheery fire place turns winter into an ideal holiday time for those cherish the startling light and mountain walks amid the astounding profusion of wild flowers.

The hotel complex entirely surrounds a large garden of oleander and jacaranda, bougainvillea, wild herbs and cypress. A court and colonnaded swimming pool occupy the spacious garden with colonnades bearing wisteria covered trellises beneath which meals are served. Bratsera's 23 rooms are individual in design, combining new and antique tile, whitewashed walls and decorated with nautical memorabilia. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be also served in Bratsera's dining room.

One of Greece's best small hotels

Converted from an old sponge factory, this buildingnot only conforms to the strict Hydriot building regulations, but has created a space in which relaxation comes naturally.

Unique Quality: Rooms are individually designed, some on two levels, all cool and with peaceful views of the terrace and surrounding streets. Pool is small-ish but as there are only 23 rooms it's never busy. The shaded terrace is the perfect place to hang out and eavesdrop on your fellow guests ( we had some Kiwis writing a film script one afternoon).
