You'll love this place!

Refitted mansion (the island has a strong naval history; many of these large houses were built by officers) lovingly appointed and maintained by Teofilo and Jenny, with huge complimentary breakfast, beautiful ambiance both in public areas as well as the room I had, flawless service, mod cons - home away from home.

Unique Quality: Easily reached on foot from the port - I asked for and got directions from a man I met on the quay, abetted by signage as I went up the streets, about a 3-5 minute walk (with tavernas on the way for those interested in refreshments). The island itself, being a sort of government protectorate, has as nearly as I could make out, only two motor vehicles on it: the garbage truck and a utility truck (for gravel and building materials, I gather). Lovely - no putt-putt at all hours. I slept well. The garden where the breakfast appears is obviously a work of love; it provides a place to meet others as well as start the day off on an upbeat note. The attentiveness of the front desk staff helped me so much with a problem I had with needed items left at the hotel in Athens - they were unstinting in their effort on my behalf. I love this place.

One of the best friendly hotel in Greece

Firstly; I recommend highly this friendly hotel.

Especially the owners Jenny & Teofilis help for your all needs.

The hotel is a typical boutique - kind hotel and made by stone.

The rooms are very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and the breakfast has been serving here.

The hotel's breakfasts are very delicious. It is note open buffet. The hotel serve your breakfast menu at your table. Most of food are home-made. Every morning they serve a different main food for the breakfast such as omlette, cake or etc.

The hotel is also not far from the harbour. Also you don't need to climb the hills of Hydra. You can reach every where very easily in the town from the hotel.

The price is reasonable and acceptable according to Hydra's general cost.

I and my family visit and stay every year at Mistral Hotel. And we are also happy to visit again and again.

Hydra's Best Secret

Mistral, Hydra's best-kept secret, is a luxury stone mansion in the very heart of the island only 3 minutes from the port. It opened in 1988 and has established itself as one of the most refined, executive and hospitable hotels in Hydra. Every morning you can also enjoy a homemade breakfast in the beautiful flower garden. The Mistran hotel will undoubtedlye your stay in Hydra an unforgettable experience.

Mistral Hotel

Mistral is a 3 star hotel locadet in Hydra Island. An old mansion with 18 rooms keeping Hydra`s tranditional coulors. All the rooms are renovated with nice view and all the comfort. In the garden you can enjoy one of the tastiest breakfast on the island. We can assure you that your stay in Mistral it will be unforgettably.

The couple who manages the hotel and their staff are extremely kind, helpful and friendly, providing really first rate service without being intrusive. The hotel is in a great location within Hydra town, just a short stroll (about 5 minutes) from the harbour. The home made breakfasts served are excellent and varied; we didn't eat the same main course for breakfast twice during our 2 week stay and the quality was superb. As far as value goes, we have paid considerably more for less well furnished hotel rooms in Hydra, so if you are looking at this class of hotel, the Mistral is really good value for what it offers. Needless to say, the rooms and everything else in the hotel is spotless in the best tradition of all the better hotels in Greece.

Mistral Hotel

Mistral hotel is located just 3 minutes from the port of Ydra. It is a traditional stone hotel with 19 rooms. All rooms have a private bathroom, air-conditioning, television, telephone and music. It has a very beautiful flower garden in which breakfast is served, and there is also a small bar there.
