MANESSI HOTEL: PORT VIEW HOTEL
Manessi Hotel is housed ia a neoclassical building at the sea front of the port of Poros. The hotel is open all year round.
We didn't stay at that hotel because our visit to the island was just for one day and then we came back at our summer house.

Poros Image Hotel
Poros Image hotel rooms have view to the Saronic Gulf and some of them have additional magnificent view to the city of Poros, the Gulf and the Peloponnesus peninsula. Pieces of furniture, sciancanto and wenge wood, marble and granite, are the main materials used in the construction of the rooms and along with earth colors, create a mystic atmosphere. Between the sea and the sky you can taste delicious dishes at the hotel's cozy private restaurant decorated in earth colors, admire pieces of furniture made of wenge wood and deep orange clothes while sited on marvelous leather chairs. Green bar as well as Calypso bar is waiting guests to relax by drinking a mohito and listening to the sounds of Frank Sinatra.

Askeli Palace: Nice spacious studios in Askeli
I arrived in Poros in October 2005 with nowhere to stay and very little knowledge of the island. After disembarking the ferry, I immediately made my way across the road to the line of travel agencies and tour operators. Most of these places contained boards outside advertising rooms to let.
At "Family Tours", a friendly bloke asked if I needed any assistance and then proceeded to show me the various rooms available. For just 25 Euros a night I could have a self-contained studio in the beach resort of Askeli Bay. The photos looked good, so I hopped into his car and went along for a look.
I wasn't disappointed. I stayed in a very spacious studio with a bathroom, kitchenette and large living area. Amenities included a fridge, cooking rings, a ceiling fan and satellite TV. The terrace outside my room afforded breathtaking views of the sea and Poros Town in the distance.
***The studios are located at the top of a steep hill and this should definitely be considered carefully if you suffer from mobility problems***
The beach is only a 5 minute walk away and there are two large supermarkets within a two minute walk of the studios. Tavernas and bars are also a 5 minute walk away.
Poros Town is a 20 minute (at least!) walk away. When I decided to stay here, the guy from Family Tours recommended that I hire a moped, a bicycle or a quad bike to get to and from the town. In the event, I was happy to walk there and back each day. If you would rather hire one of the aforementioned vehicles there are plenty of places in Askeli Bay or Poros Town from which to do so.
Good, clean, spacious studios at very reasonable prices! Very close to the beach and not too far from Poros Town.

Eptanisa - Seven Islands: Apartment with a View
Located on Lefkada/Poros, one of the most exquisite spots in Greece, Eptanisa lies amongst oil trees and rocks.
Small apartments with a well equipped kitchen, comfy and in good order, nice bathrooms.
Staff talks fluid English; good food.
1-2 minutes to the beach (shingle beach!), it depends on how fast you walk. Clear water.
Hotel has it's own pool.
Unique Quality: Grrrrrrreat view!!!!
