Armata Boutique Hotel: A truly boutique hotel with an intimate atmosphere
I was invited for a friend's wedding on Spetses Island, and was recommended Armata Hotel, which is at the center of Spetses, only a few meters from the pier. I booked a double room on the second floor with a balcony. It was exactly what I needed. A small, cozy hotel with elegant rooms, amazing atmosphere and fantastic people. The swimming pool was crystal clear and the surrounding area was full of flowers. The hotel itself has a special Spetsiot architecture and along with the simple but very well examined decoration, makes it very intimate. The breakfast was a more like a feast. Traditional Greek desserts and pies, pancakes, muffins, fresh fruit or even some great French recipes I trully enjoyed.
Unique Quality: Apart from the fact that it is located ideally at the centre of Spetses Island, it is very quiet. I appreciate peace and quiet during my vacations and I thought that it was really a treasure that there was no noise, as it was well hiden. Additionally, I have to confess that it is a hotel impeccambly clean. You can smell the cleaniness in the air, and also feel that in all the areas of the hotel. Drinking your coffee by the pool is very relaxing, while listening to lounge music by the pool bar. The garden is fantastic, however what makes this accommodation outstanding is the people running the hotel. Very happy, smiley from their heart people who had all the time to talk with you about the island, the history of this place and spend quality time with their guests.

Villa Marina: Great budget option on an expensive island
Rooms are basic but clean, bathrooms could use updating but are functional. The location is perfect just off the waterfront in between the old and new harbour. There is a communal roof top deck that has a great view. There is also a communal kitchen that is available for everyone's use. I really think this a great value on fairly expensive island.

Kastro Apartments: Staying in a traditional studio
Kastro is a beautifully renovated old mansion, constructed in the islands' traditional style and colour. Although in the centre of town, the property is quiet and peaceful, which makes it the perfect holiday choice. Kastro includes studios, apartments and maisonettes accommodating from 2 to 6 people.

Posidonion Hotel: Posidonion Hotel
I didnt stay there but it is difficult to miss this building. It is old and it looks old, but I think it has a history that makes it attractive.
