Hotel Elektra: Hotel "Villa" Elektra Pefkohori

by ivana302

Really bad maintained and low categorization hotel - although it is not stated like that. Full of bugs and all kind of insects including cockroaches. Bathroom is too small, no window, dirty and npt renovated in ages

My advice- avoid it

Hotel Toroneos Nikiti, Greece: You get what you pay for!

by Verdone

This is a classic example of you get what you pay for. Upon arrival we were told about the special bbq they were having on Saturday night for 12 euros full of Greek specialties and a nice desert bar. We paid for the bbq and were unable to try some of the "specialties" because they rarely refilled the food. Only about half of the diners were able to enjoy the dessert bar because they did not put out enough baklava and other pastries for everyone. I scraped up to of the last three pieces of watermelon which they would not put out more. When I asked if more desert was coming out, the waiter said "do you not understand me", the watermelon is your dessert. Luckily, I was waiting at the bar before dinner and bartender (who was the best thing about this hotel) gave me a piece of Greek bifteki from the buffet, as he did not know I was going to be eating there. Luckily he did, because that was the only bifteki I would be eating that night because they never refilled it on the special buffet.

Our water is currently out and when there is water it is rarely hot. The cleaners never refilled soap, toilet paper, and clean towels the day before check out. They told us we only get clean towels every 3 days and if we wanted soap and toilet paper we would have to get them ourselves at the front desk. When we finally went to get the supplies, they never gave us any soap.

The best things about this hotel were the male bartender (I don't know his name) and the eggs with tomato and french toast at breakfast. They were really good. Service is terrible and there is no sense of urgency here.

We paid 55 euros for a seaview room. I realize this is cheap but we are still giving this hotel our money and expect some level of service. It is satisfying to me to know that I am giving this hotel a bad review right from their own computer in the hotel lobby.

Toulgaridis Matteo's Appartments: Moudania's fair priced option!

by mingul

A very good option for lodging in Nea Moudania may be for the less pretentious Matteo Toulgaridis' self-catering appartments. Situated at about 5-6 minutes walk from the city center the building in discussion offers various appartments at various prices for various numbers of persons:) I have been a customer of this building several times and I was able to book usually an appartment for 50 Euros. Of course this ammount will increase if you are a larger group (I have heard the Toulgaridis appartments can accomodate up to 7 persons). The building has four levels and on each level there can be found several appartments, each having a small terrrace outside. The rooms are basic with nothing spectacular except beds, an air-conditioning device, a small TV-set and a small kitchen (equipped with a few plates, spoons and mugs). The hotel is not spotless clean, but it absolutely does not offer the impression of a filthy place. There is also a car park available between beautiful olive trees.

There is a nice stairway descending on both sides of the house that will take you straight to the beach. I have attached a photo.

PARADISE STUDIOS: Sithonias best and economic appartments

by vagge

Went first time Aug. 07 and enjoyed relaxible environment, with a really big garden, and with an all mountain inside the appartments, really exciting for amateur climbing. They have even a cafe there with biliard, ping pong, mini - football. It was very nice. I reccomend it. The sea is very nice (small bay) and the waters crystal.

Hotel Angelo: Hanioti Hotel

by Andrew_W_K

If you have come to Hanioti to chill out by the pool and read a book and while away a couple weeks in the sun then Hotel Angelo may not be the best choice. The pool is inadequate for the size of the hotel and the pool bar blares out loud, intrusive music all day. At night they have karaoki evenings, 70's nights and Greek nights that all tend to blare out loud intrusive music but worse. The early evening is usually made up with the ubiquitous Sky Sports football channels and for those important games they have a huge pull down screen to project the image on to. If you are in the room that we were (we were actually nearer to the Paradise hotel next door) then sitting on the balcony at night you felt the full force of the two hotels competing entertainment and the traffic noise from the busy main road 20 metres away.
The accommodation itself isn't bad and the maid service is excellent but I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there during our stay for the reasons listed above. The other thing I must mention are the "rules". They are everywhere and give the impression of staying in a Gulag rather than a hotel. There were 5 in our room alone.

I'd love to be able to describe an outstanding characteristic but I couldn't find one. When I researched the place prior to booking I found plenty of glowing reviews about the wonderful staff but I found some of them surley to the point of unwelcomiing if not rude. Its a shame because they could have the place so much better without much effort.

Theramvos Apartments: Nice place at Chalkidiki, Greece

by apekovic

Theramvos Apartments is a nice complex (approx. 20 apartments) in a beautiful place between Polichrono and Hanioti (Kassandra, Chalkidiki, Greece). Place is quite, beach is beautiful, clean (Blue flag) and hidden. The complex is on walking distance from both, Polichrono and Hanioti villages.

Accommodation facilities: equipped kitchen, sat. TV, air-conditioning, sea view balcony, telephone, garden, playground, parking place. Apartments are simple, but clean and well equipped. Kid’s playground is nice and wide with a lot of facilities. Parking place is on the shade of grapes (delicious). There is also barbeque (big one) on the garden, table tennis...

Paradise Hotel, Kriopigi: Its a pity for Paradise

by apekovic

Paradise Hotel in Kriopigi (Chalkidiki, Greece) is one of the best small hotels in this area. Unfortunately, instead of bad access to the nice beach, more serious problem is hospitality, hosting and service. Because of that, I say "it's a pity for Paradise". I cannot recommend this very nice looking hotel, just because of terrible service and impoliteness of the hosts. For last two years they even try to fix web site presentation.

Nice architecture, area planning, kids playground, pool, poll bar, nice view, olive trees...

Akritas EY Zein Villas & Suites

by dimilag

At Kassandra peninsula, it is situated at the ‘EY Zein Settlement’, somewhere between Paliouri and Aghia Paraskevi. Luxury is the word that describes this hotel. Jacuzzi, prive swimming pool as some of the, lets say, amenities of the rooms and the villas.

Porto Vasilitsa

by dimilag

It is situated at Kassandra peninsula. One of the best hotels to stay, according to my opinion of course. The combination of the comfort, the calm, the endless blue of the sea create a unique feeling to every visitor. Try the mediterranean cuisine at its restaurant.

Danai Beach Resort

by dimilag

It is the only member of The Leading Small Hotels of the World at northern Greece. It has villas and rooms equipped with everything someone should need. At its three awarded restaurants you have the chance to taste the local, international and gourmet cuisine or you can visit the beach bar and dance under the latin beats of the DJ.
