"Pure Olive Soaps"!
by INSULARIUS
Crete is famous for its olive oil, one of the best in the world!
In Chania the ABEA industry, except its excellent production of pure olive oil, makes also a range of high quality soaps made of olive oil and honey.
Once in Chania, you should ask for them!
A Venetian Influence Awaits You

If your time on Crete is limited to a few days I would strongly suggest making Chania your base camp. From here you have easy access to ruins, hiking, shopping and nightlife.
Chania is Crete's second city and former apital. The Venetian Quarter of Chania that surrounds the Old Harbor is one of Crete's best attractions. The ligthhouse at the entrance of the harbor is the most visible of the Venetian monuments. You can escape the crowds of the the harbor by strolling around the narrow streets and little plateias of the Splantzia Quarter.
