I took a day cruise to Balos beach & it was simply amazing! After a few hours stop at a nearby island to explore an old Venetian fortress, the boat headed to Balos beach for about 4 hours of beach time.
You can get to Balos by car & I might have liked it better that way but I was alone at the time.
If you want to go to Balos & enjoy some privacy, get there early as the big ship comes in around 2:00pm or so.
