Very Good Budget Hotel in Olympia
The Hotel Pelops was my favourite hotel that I stayed in Greece outside of Athens. To be honest that is not saying much because I choosed to stay the cheapest hotels I could find and this was sometimes indictive in quality. However for just a small price (which have gone up considereably since) I got a pretty decent room that was both clean and room. Probably what I like most about the place was the very pleasant staff on duty. It was owned by an Australian-born Greek who spoke excellent English.
Since my stay in 1997, the hotel has been renovated.
Unique Quality: There is now satellite TV which there was not during my visit. There is also a very lovely breakfast room.
