The Amalia hotel is the best 4-star hotel in Delphi. It is located just 100m from Delphi town center and is popular with tour groups.

Unique Quality: The hotel has a pool which overlooks the Gulf of Corinth. The rooms are simple and cosy with all modern amenities.

Fun, Fun, Fun!

This was one the nicest staffed hotels I've ever been too...Our party of 20 rearranged the bar area, drank, and told stories till the early morning hours.

The hillside resort is situated in a mountainside and is a quick walk to town.

This resort is great in the summer, but very popular for skiing in the winter.

Unique Quality: ~swimming pool

~television

~walking distance to town

~breathtaking views

~air conditioning

~Shops on Site

~Restaurant and coffee shop

~beautiful garndens

Great location

I took an overnight trip from Athens, and the Amalia was where they had me stay. The room was old fashioned, but clean and spacious. The bathroom had a nice, large bath, with shower over it. The room had a double bed, TV and a balcony.

There is a large dining room. On my overnight trip my buffet dinner was included. I must say I've never tasted such a nice chicken and mushroom dish in my life. They also had salads, calamari and other casseroles.

The hotel has a really nice gift shop with gorgeous jewellery, at what appeared to be reasonable prices.

All of the staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English.

Unique Quality: Pool looks fantastic (was too cold to check it out when I was there). Great views. A short walk (20 min at a leisurely pace) to the ancient site of Delphi.

Amalia Delphi

There is a restaurant, a coffee shop, a TV room, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar.

Unique Quality: Situated on a mountain slope, the hotel has a picturesque port of Itea, a town built at the edge of a plain full of olive groves and veneyards.

Dont forget to check-out the lift...you dont see much of these types of lifts anymore.

While visiting Delphi, we stayed at the Amalia Hotel Delphi which is situated on a mountain slope that offers breathtaking views of the picturesque port of Itea, a town built at the edge of a plain full of olive groves & vineyards.

It is also located within walking distance of the famed Delphi attractions: the Archaeological Museum, the Temple of Apollo, & the Castalia Fountain.

The hotel has 184 rooms, all with private bathrooms. Each room is air conditioned, has both direct dial telephone and satellite TV.
There is a restaurant, a coffee-shop, a souvenir and jewelery shop, verandas, beautiful gardens, outdoor swimming pool with a bar, and plenty of parking.

There is a "Scandinavian" look and feel to this hotel...although it is quite modern, it blends well with its landscape. Theviews are quite remarkable; the short walk to town is lovely; the facilities are up-to-date and comfortable; and the food at the restaurant is delicious.
