The Acropole Delphi Hotel is a modern family-run hotel in local traditional style, centrally located in a quiet area near the town center, with balconies open onto a magnificent & uninterrupted view of the Gorge of Delphi. It is only 400m from the Archaeological site & the famous museum. You may watch my high resolution photo of Delphi on Google Earth according to the following coordinates 38º 28' 39.77" N 22º 28' 48.62" E or on my Google Earth Panoramio Modern Delphi Acropole Hotel.
The Acropole Hotel has 40 rooms & 2 suites. Balconies overlook the magnificent uninterrupted view of the Corinthian Gulf and the olive groves of Itea. This welcoming, white-painted hotel with varnished pine woodwork, on a quiet street not far from Delphi’s main attractions, is a pleasant surprise and has far more character than its attractive, but not particularly individual, exterior and stone-tiled sitting room might suggest. The top-floor bedrooms have steeply sloping wood ceilings, in a cosy attic style. Beds and other furnishings are modern, in plain wood, and care has been taken in the choice of brightly-patterned curtains and bedcovers which brighten each room. But the big selling point is the million-dollar view from each balcony, looking down several hundred meters across the Gulf of Corinth Theme: HotelPrice: US$40-80 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Acropole S.A 33054 Delphi Greece, 33054 Delphi, DePhone: Tel.22650 8267, Fax 22650 83171Directions: From Itea: Take the lower road of Delphi (Filellinon) for approximately 500m. One of the people I was traveling with on my trip to Delphi decided to stay out for a night in Delphi, and pay the extra day of storage for his stuff back in Athens. When he arrived the next day, he raved about this hotel being super nice, and a super steal of a deal. Of course, this was in comparison to our crappy Athens hostel, but nevertheless, he said it was a legit place for cheap.
Wonderful views and private baths. Theme: HotelPrice: less than US$20 » Currency ConverterComparison: least expensiveAddress: Pavlou 9Phone: 22650 82 335

View from my balcony at the Pan Hotel by Paul2001 I stayed two nights in the Pan Hotel while in Delphi. Oddly enough when I got off the bus from Meteora I had initially intended the Pan as my first pick for accommadations as recommended by my guidebook (Rough Guide). As soon as I got my bag, I was approached by the usual hassler you get in towns like Delphi, attempting to get you to go their hotel. Pleasantly enough this guy was hoping the to drag me off to the Pan no less.
It was not great but it did have nice balconies which offered excellent views of the valley and gulf. The rooms are very clean and some have baths. About 50m from the hotel is a nice patio/bar type place where you check out the views for the cost of a beer. Main Street with Hotels by johngayton I didn't actually stay overnight here in Delphi but as a general tip: if you haven't booked your stay then the main town has a street with pretty much nothing but hotels, all of which looked clean and attractive from the outside. Much as with the Islands, when the bus arrives all the local hoteliers come out to tout for custom and rates can be negotiated on the doorsteps. There is a restaurant, a coffee shop, a TV room, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar.
Situated on a mountain slope, the hotel has a picturesque port of Itea, a town built at the edge of a plain full of olive groves and veneyards. Dont forget to check-out the lift...you dont see much of these types of lifts anymore. Theme: HotelAddress: Apollonos Street 1, Delphi nullPhone: +30 2265082101

Apollon - Older campground furnished with a pool, restaurant and places for caravans. It's placed about 1 km West of New Delphi. Contact: tel. +30 2650 82475 Delphi Camping ------------------------------------------------------- Please bear in mind that hotels in Delphi are quite expensive and of limited standard. This is due to the fact that tourists stop there usually for one night only and they don't come back anyway.
