Buses on Corfu

I'm going to Corfu in 5 weeks' time (assuming the planes are flying again by then!). I don't want to drive while on the island. I'll be staying in Nissaki and want to spend a day in Corfu town. Can I get a bus there and back in one day? And is the bus service as bad as I've heard or is that just a cliche?

there are buses but their timetable isnt reliable. Definetely, you find a bus to reach the capital, you may just have to wait from 10' to 60', you never know :)

Water Sports

There is a huge selection of water sports available on the beach at Benitses. You can water ski, paraglide, go on the banana or even be pulled along on a tyre.
While we were there we went on the tyres which was great fun, I actually managed to stay on all the time but the driver of the boat did his best to knock us off by dragging us over the waves created by the boat.
Be careful not to get your legs caught in the rope though. A life jacket is required but that and any other equipment is supplied.
Café at the port

Nothing really special to write about this canteen which is located next to the ticket booths at the New Port. You will probably get your coffee here (2,5e) like we did and also some snacks or other beverages, yes, the same things that you will find inside the boat anyway.
Stop here only if your boat is late otherwise go inside to get a seat, in high season it’s very difficult to find one inside the boats. We stopped here at this café because the sun was bright but then we regreted it when we realized that everyone else was already inside the boat!
Kassiopi

Kassiopi is a nice little harbor on the north east coast of Corfu, in front of Albania. Ìt seems to have kept most of its character along the years. May be because there is no space for development and building of huge hotels!
In the middle of the square that is the center of the village, stands a well that is not in use anymore. The photo here has been taken while there was still a hand pump to get water!
