Camping in Elafonisos is right next to the beach. Is a new property,which was built 3-4 years ago.It gets real crowded on August which would be better to avoid.
There are all the facilities of a camping, mini market,restaurant,cooking places,toiletes and baths and there is also security 24-7.
The best place to stay in the camping are the small bungalows. Not more than 6, provide 4 beds,small fridge and big bathroom with shower. They are really spacy and you also have a small place outside with private parking and a small terrace... The cost for the summer of 2006 was 70 euros per night on peak season.
If you like the idea you should book real early cos these are few and a lot of people want em.
I booked mine on mid May for August and was the last available...

Elafonisos Mare is the place with the best view in the island. Less than 1km walk from the village,is a family friendly house,with a beautiful swimming pool for your afternoon relaxation.
Has a few rooms and studios which can sleep up to 4 or 6 persons.

However, mind that no breakfast is served. This, u can prepeare yourself as well as any other kind of meal, in its fully equiped kitchen.
Swimming pool. Mind though, that there is no any outstanding views available.

The main reason Elafonisos is so famous is because of the one beach on the back side of the island. It is such a beautiful, sandy beach, that you will find no other like it anywhere in Greece. However, and sadly, in 2008, building has begun on the hill going down to the beach, against much protest, it will continue. Money speaks louder than beauty in Greece, it seems!
