Agios Nikitas is a small village on the west coast. You can get the bus from Lefkada. Most visitors are Greek or Italian and the atmosphere ir relaxed. The locals talk english to any nationality that does not speak greek.

Mousses Apartments in Lefkas
Hello
Has anyone been to the above apartments ?
If you have can you please tell me what they are like and what lefkas is like for tourists.

I dont know the specific apartments, but I come from that area and I vivit Lefkada every year (for the last 27...).
The beaches on the western side of the island are magnificent, but the road network is not the best and I would recommend that you rent a car and not a bike...
The village of Agios Nikitas is beutiful, go down where the beach is and turn right. There is a wondeful cafe where you can drink your frappe and relax!
Mylos beach, Kathisma, Megali Petra, Egremni, Porto Katsiki are only some of the amazing beaches there. And when I say amazing I mean it.
The city of Lefkas is cosmopolitan. All the night life is there.
I always disliked Nydri so I will not say anything about it or the Eastern side of the island...
The advantage of Lefkada is that you don't need a boat to go the mainland... If I were you, I'd surely visit Preveza (<20km from the Lefkas), I think it's a wonderful small town. Try to see it at nightime, it has excellent fish tavernas and small streets filled with people...
