Can any tell me wich is bluer, the Ionian or the Aegean ?

The color mainly depends on the depth of the water and on the fact you have rocks or sand at the bottom.
Don't know for Ionian but the Aegean sea is wondefully blue...
You can check it by yourself, have a look to some of the pictures I took during my last trip over there...

I suggest the Aegean blue which has many light wonderful variations while Ionian blue is deeper and more monotonous. Although, sea is equally clear and refreching.

Back packs would prove easiest to transport about due to the steep inclines of the streets. Runners, or rubber soled sandles, as Ma Kettle found the leather soles of her sandals slippery on some portions of the cobblestoned streets. lots of photo ops due to the traditional and often origional construction style of the homes and shops, let alone the beautiful scenery afforded by the elevated views of the sea beyond. A map of sorts, and some reading in advance of the village and sights to seek out, as we could find nothing with which to guide us about the village. I question the day we visited, and wonder if many shops were merely closed, rather than non-existant as originally assumed. We are unable to recall.
