Agravlis Villa: Traditional Villa

We rented this place direct from Kostas, the owner, who lives in Athens but was brought up on Skopelos, indeed his parents still live on the island and come and water the plants in the garden !

It is just the right size for 4 people, but no more. It has got aircon, which is a MUST in the summer, it was 48C one day, and at 2am one night it was still 36C !!! Also TV, CD, satellite.
All mod cons - washing machine, cooker, fridge freezer, cutlery, crockery, bed linen, you just need your own towels. There is also a fairly large swimming pool which is also a must due to the heat !

It is not on the coast, but only 5 mins drive to Stafilos or Skopelos Town. You need a car or moped if you stay here, but there are a couple of grocery shops within walking distance.
In the middle of farm land, with sheep grazing amongst the olive trees. There is a garden all around the place, but we spent most of our time around the pool. Also there's a BBQ which we used several times.

All in all it was a lovely place and I would recommend it to others. Quite reasonable too at 85 EUR per night...between 4 people that is cheap !

Surrounded by olive groves, really quiet.
Lovely pool.
