The Delsol: Stunning Views
The Del Sol (Takis and Sophie) apartments are situated on the the edge of Skopelos Town, just 700 metres from the harbour. We were made to feel very welcome by our host Sophie who is a lovely lady and can't do enough for you. The complex consists of a private Villa for families and studios and apartments. The studio apartments are quite big for basic accommodation and they were cleaned regularly and clean towels provided every other day. The complex is ideally situated for the shops which are very close by. Although we weren't very far away from the town it was very peaceful and quiet, ideal for a relaxing break
Unique Quality: The panoramic seaview from the Delsol was amazing, we used to sit on our balconies during the day watching the fishing boats going and coming back daily and the ferries coming and going from the nearby island of Skiathos. At night we would sit and watch the sunset. The pool area is behind the apartments and studios and the views from here are also lovely. For those of you feel energetic in the hot weather there is a tennis court where you also have a sea view.

Stella Studios: Really good value for money!
I stayed at the Stella Studios on the ring road of Skopelos for my whole stay in Skopelos. It consists of two buildings, a newly built and an older which was renovated last year. I had studio 4 in the older house and it was very good. Rather small but quite alright. It had two beds and I got it for only 24€/night in June.
Stella and her son Yiannis runss the place and they are very, very nice. Stella herself only speaks greek so we had quite some interesting conversations from time to time, she spoke greek and I swedish, neither understood the other but we had great fun!
Yiannis picks you up with his little minibus in the harbour when you arrive if you have pre-booked the accomodation. I suspect he might be there at other times too, but I wouldn't count on it as they seemed to be pretty fully booked.
When I arrived I got a tour of the studios wonderful garden. FLowers and fruits everywhere and Yiannis was keen to tell me that I could have as many plums as I wished from one of the trees.
There is no sea-view from the studios, but I had a wonderful view of the mountains. As far as location goes it's on the ring-road as said, but the walk down through the pittoresque alleys in the town is only about 5-10 minutes depending on your speed. Nothing at all to worry about.
There is a bakey and super market close by (50 metres).
Unique Quality: Wonderful hosts, terrific garden, calm surroundings, A/C included in the price.

We were booked in for two weeks, and arrived early evening. It was studio apartments and I was expecting basic but this was unreal.
We stayed one night due to the cramped, damp room and were moved the next day.
It was very early season and apparently some of the other rooms were ok - but again, very basic.
Unique Quality: Pool was very small and dirty.
