We stayed at this hotel twice (september 2003&2004) and we were more than satisfied. Hotel is located at the very end of longshore promenade, suitably delimited. Rooms are not just exclusive, but above average greek level (ask for the pool-view side!). Breakfasts are opulent; when the half-board is reserved, the dinners are served with the touch of oldfashioned gentility and they are fine. The pebble beach is closely attached to the hotel, it is private to some extent (local people used to go there occasionally, but they never overcrowd it and you are not feel yourself trapped in the 'tourist-ghetto', at least). The beach is very plasurable and clean. Parasols and deckchairs are free for the hotel guests (it starts to be anomaly, unfortunately). There is urban bus service to the town every half hour (10min run), walking distance to the city is about 40min. Kalamata is convenient base for exploring southern Pelloponese by hired car. We would like visit this place again, but our charter-flight career cancelled this destination, unfortunately. Leave a Comment
