"A Brief History"
I have been going to Kalamata since I was born. I learned to ride my first bike, and I learned to swim here. Somewhere along the way I made a lot of good friends and now Kalamata is my home away from home.
"Variety"
Kalamata has a huge variety of things to do. If you like the beach, there is a beautiful beach running alone the coast, as well as many beautiful beaches in the sorrounding areas of the city.
If you prefer hiking, there is plenty of is, as Kalamata is sorrounded by a mountain range.
If you like city life, Kalamata can oblige, since it is not a small resort town. It is really the perfect size. Not to big, not to small... jesus.. I'm like the Goldie Locks of travel. lol
"General Information"
Getting to Kalamata is very easy. You can of course take a taxi from Athens, but the cheapest way is to take the KTEL bus. Buses leave from Athens for Kalamata every hour or so.
