 Unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to enjoy the services of this hotel, since the owners decided otherwise. A week ago, my father called them to book a studio from the 13th to the 20th of August. Unfortunately, the next couple of days, due to a few already scheduled medical examinations he had to take, he didn’t have the time to deposit the money they asked for advance payment. The hotel didn’t give him a specific deadline for the deposit, so he felt there would be no problem in making it the next day. On the evening of the second day after the booking, they contacted him to tell him that the room had been booked to someone else. He tried to explain the situation to them, but they hanged up on him. He phoned them a few minutes later and managed to talk to the owner’s daughter who was obnoxious. She tried to “convince” him that the booking had been made four days ago and not two. She accused him of calling her names, when all he did was raising his voice in desperation (I witnessed the call, so I know that first hand). She even implied that the medical examinations he took had to do with his mental health. And all this addressing a 65 year old man, old enough to be her father. No respect, no professional ethics. Being Greek, I am really ashamed that people like that manage Greek hotels and I feel like apologizing to all foreigners on their behalf. Because, unfortunately, the owners of Rezi are not the only ones who make Greece look really bad in your eyes.
