Bali is 31 km away from Rethymnon. Bali in Turkish means a place of honey. 70 km west of Heraklion you find Rethymno, I am afraid I can’t be any helpful with info about Rehtymno because thanks to the terrible showers we spend more time in an Irish bar then we saw something of the city.
