This offers local fare with no Caribbean cuisine in sight, as the name suggests. We went to this restaurant once on each stay and I thought it was a nice little restaurant. I think the most positive element is its locality, which is in the small square by the Rimondi Fountain. The square is packed with tables crowded with people from other restaurants and Tavernas, which make for a great atmosphere. Its also great for people watching if you like that kind of thing as there is a steady stream of people filtering past to frequent the shops further up the narrow pedestrian streets. The owner was very friendly and they recognised us from last year, which was a nice touch. The food is inexpensive compared to other restaurants and I would advise a pasta or pizza dish. I opted for swordfish on the later occasion we visited, which wasn't very good, as it wasn't fresh. However, I enjoyed this restaurant and would definitely advise stopping by.
