Old Town by AcornMan
Everything worth seeing in Rethymno is located within the old town. I recommend getting a hotel inside the old town because it's quieter and it will be more convenient for you since you'll be doing a lot of walking.The old town is full of shops, restaurants, tavernas, cafes, bakeries, and other things that make it an enjoyable place to spend a day or two (though I wouldn't want to stay longer than that). I liked just strolling around through the narrow streets of the old town and taking in the sights.
