The village of Kokkari is located on the north part of Samos island. It is one of the most popular places of Samos but even when it is full of tourists it retains his charm.
The little bay just after the end of the main road is full of taverns and bars which are situated just to the waters edge. There are two beautiful beaches to swimm.
I worked here for 3 years, the island is very beautiful,very green and Turkey is a stones throw away. The village of Pythagorion is named after the mathematician Pythagoros who was born here. The village is a very strong community, traditional and extremely close knit. I had a great time working here and learnt a lot about Greece and life in general.
