Hotel Angeliki: A Comfortable budget hotel in Ireo

We decided to spend the rest 4 nights at Ireon because it is a quiet fishing village, and we did not particularly want crowds and noisy nightlife.

This family ran hotel is close to Ireon beach in a distance less than 100 metres, and about 10 minutes on foot to ancient Iras Temple. A big plant of bougainvillea goes really up and around the hotel, and this makes it even more beautiful and attractive.

The reception room is comfortable and nicely decorated in a traditional style.

Around and close to ANGELIKI Hotel there are restaurants, café bars, where you can enjoy good food and drink Samos special wine (which is sweet)….not one of my favourites though!

Unique Quality: Comfortable rooms with 1-2 or 3 beds and bath. (In fact the bath was really big). We had a continental breakfast. Mrs. Angeliki kept emphasizing the fact that the cucumber was without chemicals, and she was proud of this product. However I have to admit that we found breakfast too little. Everything was brought to us. (One slice of cheese, one or two small pieces of cucumber, and one or two slices of bread. Oh yes, I can never forget the orange juice. It was just water, sugar and colour. I wanted to mention the fact that we preferred to be brought water instead, but Mrs. Angeliki was such a nice lady that I could not do that to her. Besides, we had orange juice in our little mini fridge in the room.

The hotel has a family atmosphere, just what we wanted. Mrs. Angeliki, a lady indeed, very polite and helpful always ready to suggest nice excursions for us to explore in the southern part of Samos.

If I ever go back there again, I will surely stay here at this hotel.

CHRISTINA APPARTMENTS: A NICE BUDGET HOTEL IN AGIOS CONSTANTINOS

A family run business. The owner and his wife spend winter in Athens and come during the summer season on the island to run their business.
The rooms are clean and nicely furnished with the necessary amenities.

The people who come here should have a car of course.
The village sits right next to the sea alongside a long pebble beach.

Unique Quality: I liked its location. The apartments are situated at the very end of the road outside Ayios Costantinos, on the way to Karlovasi. It is just a few metres from the sea and situated in a very nice location which is surrounded by very high pine trees.
The beautiful village of Manolates is a few kms away.
The studio we were given was newly renovated and was at the back of the garden. It had a small kitchen with all amenities.
The bathroom was small, but there was a veranda and a table under an olive tree.
The room had airconditioning, and clean towels.

While staying here I noticed that the owner had guests who keep coming back every year because they are satisfied from their budget stay.
