The hooker district...
I stayed here comfortably for a little over 2 weeks until I found my apartment. The lobby is nice, and the the facilities are good. The room was small, but it had a balcony with a view of the street below. The bed was comfy, and the TV had CNBC Europe and other english speaking channels. The food was good, although the room service menu was very limited. All in all, it's basically what I expected for european Holiday Inn.
The staff was able to speak english, but I think that they resented me for being a US Citizen as young as I am waltzing in and paying for a 2 week stay. Nevertheless, the parking garage attendant got to understand me, and we were able to exchange pleasantries.
What I did not like about this place was the cost. It was very expensive for it being a Holiday Inn. The room service was expensive (more so than other hotels that I've stayed), and the nightly rate was expensive. The company I work for pays for my expenses, but still, I did not think it warranted $150+ per nite.
