Famissi Hotel: Central and easy
When I drove into town, I was constantly on the look out for hotels thinking that the hotels in town would either be too expensive or full. Maybe I just had some bad luck, but the first few that I tried were completely sold out, but I had avoided this hotel thinking it would be out of my price range from how it looked from the outside. But not wanting to drive back out of town a few kilometers, I decided to try it anyway.
As a walk-in, the price was 30EUR for a single with breakfast included. The rooms were a bit cozy, but were clean, quiet and comfortable enough for a short stay. I would not stay here long-term as the rooms were a bit cozy, but for a short stay, it was decent enough.
Location says it all. The hotel is right in the center, within walking distance of everything. There is plenty of free parking in the corner lot behind the hotel. WiFi and breakfast were included.

Hotel Kosta Famissi: Hotel Kosta Famissi
The best staff in any of the hotels we stayed on this trip in Greece - they just could not do enough for us. On the arrival a full map of the town and all monasteries was given to us (with opening hours), explaining the best routes and best way around them. Hotel is a destination in itself - over the top ancient Greek style. Fantastic! The room itself was perfectly fine for the budget. On the main street with four minute walk to the train and bus stations. The morning bus to the monasteries is stopping just outside the hotel. Our room had a view over the mountains and monasteries. Extremely strong WIFI in the room and the the lobby area. Good breakfast with freshly made coffee and omelette as well as cold cuts and cheese. Overall a fantastic experience - HIGHLY recommended.

Hotel Antoniadis: A comfortable hotel
Comfortable 98 room hotel with included breakfast, free wi-fi. I'd definitely stay there again.
The hotel did have a pool, and a roof garden, but I didn’t check them out.

Iridanos Guesthouse: Guesthouse in Meteora
We stayed there in June 2010. The guesthouse is relative new and we were very satisfied from the room (clean, big, good furniture quality, nice decoration) and the staff (kind & helpful). We also asked for a baby bed and we got it. The breakfast was basic but enough. The guest house is just outside Kalampaka city and has Meteora view.

Monastiri Guesthouse: Would like to stay here longer!
Its location is perfect especially if you are travelling by train or by bus. We also enjoyed the magnificient view from our balcony. This place really deserves the name guesthouse as you feel like guests but not like customers here. We were welcomed with a big bottle of cold water and when we left the hotel to catch our bus we were given another one. Both for free, both without being asked. We definetely would like to stay longer in this tastefully decorated guesthouse and enjoyed a few more of its rich breakfasts.
The hospitality of the owners and the unique view from its big balconies & garden.

HOTEL ARSENIS: Great Accommodation and Friendly Service
Having checked this Pension out on the internet, I was prepared for a pleasant stay. But it turned out to be much more than I expected. A superb location near the Meteora Monasteries in North Central Greece, pleasant and quiet rooms, family hospitality, reasonable prices, and very helpful hosts, all made the visit most memorable. We planned on a 2 night stay and remained there 4 nights. I'd return anytime. The Hostel is frequently host to German, American, and Spanish tourists.
Great views from the individual balconies. barbecue dinners "family style", and Mother Arsenis is a charm.

Camping in the mountain: Camping in the mountain
Camping outside an organized camping is theoretically forbidden in Greece. If you tried to camp in the wild in touristy zones, you would certainly be awaken during the night by the police and be fined.
If you camp in remote areas, nobody will care. Isn’t it more pleasant to be surrounded by cows than by noisy neighbors?
We found this spot after we had driven two kilometers on a dirt road, out of the main Meteoron road and spent a wonderful night!

Divani Meteora Hotel: Meteora's best hotel
This hotel is gorgeous! The decor is really nice, the beds only ok, but the rooms are big, and the location at the base of the main street is good launching point. There isn't much to do in Kalambaka, the town this hotel is in, but its a short drive to the best of the Meteora monasteries, which would be your only reason to really be out in this area, aside from the beautiful mountain side, which we enjoyed more than the monasteries. There are some good cafes in town, and plenty of restaurants.
amazing decor, nice pool, expensive gym, but beautiful views

Guesthouse Sotiriou, Kastraki Village
Guesthouse Sotiriou is a small pension (5 rooms) in a recently restorated house at the quiet village of kastraki at the roots of the meteora rocks. The rooms are very clean as well as everything in this pension. Every room has it's own character, but every piece of furniture gives the impression that you are in a Greek house 100 years ago. The view to meteora is excellent. The rooms offer everything a 4 stars hotel should offer (TV, Air Condition etc).
The breakfast was very good (fried & boiled eggs, Feta cheese, butter, honey, home made marmelade etc). It is in a 5 min walk from the center of the village , where the majority of the tavernas are.
The owners are very friendly and helpfull. By the time we left they gave us a bottle of wine of their own production.

Kaikis Hotel: Hotel in Kalambaka
This is a decent hotel: The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were fine. The breakfast served standard breakfast fare and there was a nice selection.
I loved the lobby area of this hotel. There is some space to sit in the front but if you move farther to the back there is a great seating area that offers lots of privacy.

Ziogas rooms: Rooms with great view to Meteora
See the picture, Do you like the view? It is taken on the balcony of the hotel room. Balconies with outstanding view to the holy rocks. It is a small family unit, clean and friendly. It has about 12-15 rooms dbls or trpls, I think it is open all year around, and it has really good price. 35 Euros for a double room.
But the basic reason I recommend it is for the view. Breathtaking. Request a room with view to the rocks.
I definitely recommend it for its category.
Great view, cheap, clean and friendly.
