The Old PortMountains,rocks and beaches
The landscape is dry ,rough ,but there are excellent beaches.Side by side at the west end,near 'acrotiri' are the black,the red and the white beach (named after the color of their sand).
There are also 'perissa' and 'camari' and some smaller ones.
Take a stop at 'acrotiri' with its archaelogical site of a Minoan palace before going for swimming
One can also make a boat trip to the volcano -not really much to see,it's almost flat but it smells funny and can see some smoke going out of holes in the ground.The boat usually stops for a swim at a spot where there is a submarine hot spring!
