Nonis Apartments
After three days at the Aroma Suites we got the word from Fanes. We had to move over to the Nonis Apartments. There was a room available for us now and our room at the Aroma Suites was reserved for someone else. With great regret I packed up my bags, drug them up the side of the cliff and followed Fanes over to the Nonis Apartments.
While not as fancy as the Aroma Suites I could not complain about the room at the Nonis Apartments. It was beautiful also in its own right. It was more of a classic hotel room with beautiful wood furnishings and very different from Aroma Suites. We had a window that looked out directly on the harbor the volcano. The view was actually better than the view at the Aroma Suites. And we had a private balcony just outside the front window. This was the perfect place for a bottle of wine and a quiet afternoon.
Unique Quality: Both the Nonis and Aroma Suites are located on a quiet cliff overlooking the Caldera. The busy streets and all of the tourist areas are just a few steps away from the hotel. But you feel like you are all alone and far from the crowds once you step down the side of the cliff and into either of these two hotels.
