This Camping ground has got some shade and modest facilities, But It is a LONG way from the nearest beach. This place is 400 Ms from Paletia Theotokopoulou.
For Adult Price is 5.9 Euros and for Tent price is 2.7 Euros. There is a self service restaurant and a pool. Be careful when buying the drinks on the pool in high summer season.
One of the most luxurious and top class hotel of Santorini Island. It has ideal location and very close to all the restaurants and market square. The rooms are spacious, Airy and provide all the comforts of A - Class of hotel. The rooms in this hotel provide some staggering panoramic views of Caldera and Sunset & Sunrise.
I think this can be a good choice in Santorini. Cheaper than the YH in Firà, you'll have access to a... smaller amount of nightlife, but you're closer to the beach.
Maybe alternate some days here and in Firà.
We were in Schinoussa in September. VERY quiet. Stayed at Pension Galini. He meets the boats. 30 euro per night for 3 people, with kitchenette. Very clean. It is located at the far end of the town and the view from the front of the pension was of one side of the island and the view from the back was of the other side of the island. There were nice verandahs with flowering plants to sit out on. The owner speaks enough english, and his wife speaks none. She served us coffee and fruit on their terrace when we got there. There were two quiet beaches we walked to. Weather was hot in September and I think it would be in June too. There were still enough restaurants open in September, and a couple of stores where you could buy groceries and beer.Don't think I would want to stay more than a week.If it's your first trip to Greece you really should go to Santorini for a day. I don't think I can attach photos with this but if you leave your email address I can send you some of Schinoussa and Pension Galini. Great views.
Le Petite Bed & Breakfast on Santorini Outstanding view from rooftop outdoor breakfast patio; great host named Peter (from London); very clean, well-kept, not run-down.
Again, the hotels on Santorini and Mykonos were outrageously over priced. We ended up paying over $100 for a room with NO AIR CONDITIONER. The hotel I did like was the one on Crete in Hania. See my Iraklion page for more info on Crete.
$100 and up. Staff was usually very rude and unwelcoming.
Santorini - George Pension at Karterados
Drachmas 12,000/double room/nite. Situated in a nice quiet village away from city centre. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spotless. George's wife is an English and they have two lovely daughters. At request, George can arrange to pick you up from/to the pier or take you to the airport.
SANTORINI - PENSION KARLOS Karlos and his wife Eva are running this place with love and care. They are very nice people, deep religious, and the place is always very clean.Breakfast is outside on a patio in the morningsun.(and you get everything that you want)
They've got 20 rooms with bath rooms. Some of them have a great view over the island.

Can you take a ferry from Athens to Santorini? If so, How long is the trip. Thanks.
From Piraeus, which is on the Athens metro, it takes 7-9 hours by ferry, 4-5 by high-speed boat/hydrofoil: http://www.greeka.com/cyclades/santorini/island/santorini-ferries.htm
there is an overnight ferry too where you can have a cabin if you like it that way.
i went on that ferry in june and liked the old slow ferry.
