OK, where to start! Ios is the party island of the Cyclades - I know that it has more to offer, but I guarantee, most visitors go for this reason alone. Maria and I wanted to see what it was all about, and we did have a groovy, if not taxing, time there. We stayed at a "slick operation" called Far Out on Milopotas beach. This photo is of their cheapest option - a hard top tent (kennel) with two cots inside - not posh but it suited our needs very well!
Here is a view from the top of the Far Out camping hill. They have a great pool, cafeteria type food, store, bar, and on and on. You can not avoid meeting tons of people, going out and dancing all night, and getting lots of sun!
Here is a group of us enjoying a Mexican dinner in the bay - I don't remember the name of this place, Paradise maybe? - but it was very tasty regardless. We also had a favourite restaurant in Ios town called Pinocchio's - fantastic gnocci!
We did get a chance to go for a scenic drive, although this is all the sight seeing we did do on the island (sad!). We visited a great, QUIET beach on the eastern side of Ios.
