Galini Pension Hotel: Best Deal I've Seen In Greece
This hotel is located only 5 mins, walk, from the port and about 2 mins from a very nice beach. The village is only about ten mins walk also. This hotel has very good rates and is a very classy place, clean, great owners, quite, a real 5 star value for a lot less. They have free hi-speed inter-net and also TVs in their rooms. The location is Yialos which is right next to the port. I found out about the place from Trip advisor reviews, they were all good and all right on!

Lofos Village: Best location in Ios if you like to party ;)
This place is pretty much run by Australian students in the summer. The facilities are BEAUTIFUL, the building is gorgeous, and it's in the middle of everything. Dont get confused between Lofos Hotel...
Ideal day would be to rent an ATV, visit myoplatas beach do a bit of water sports at Paradise Beach, check out harmony (and tell me about it, because we never got a chance to get here :(), Homers Tomb (Tell me about this one too, because it was getting so dark, we got scared and headed back), head back, have dinner at Lord Byrons (it's hiding up in the corner, dont confuse it with ___ byrons .. forgot the name.. but if the Byrons you are at was easy to find, it wasnt it. ) and enjoy their HUGE steak dish... go home.. pass out from 10 pm to 3 am. wake up, head over to rehab, slammer, disco 69, then end it off at the after hours club Kandi. These clubs are all within a 2 minute walk of each other, and there are plenty more to choose from, but these were my fav.
Kandi rocks hard til 7, save the best for last.

Hotel Aegeon Milopotas
Simple and nice hotel, right in front of the Milopotas beach.
Rooms are really nice, typical Greek and service is very good, the owner is a really kind person.
Think as a Greek, never accept the first price :)

Hotel Katarina: Young guests (only)
We were picked up at the ferry arrivals and they set us in this not too big not too small what seemed-to-be summer village but was a very neat and cosy athmosphered hotel (almost only inhabited by students). We stayed 11 night and I cannot remember one disappointing thing in the stay. There were 5 of us: big room, big terrace with view of Mylopòtas beach and hilltops; big bathroom with shower and all that; clean sheets like snow; safe locks on the doorknobs; working refridgerator (big one compared to all the other standards); two windows; closet; curtains (clean); shudders and room to walk in.
Unique Quality: Parking (plenty) for motorbikes; clean, wide and inviting "public" toilets; the pool is big and very clean (not so much cloreen if you need that advice); many tanning chairs to lay on, on smooth mattresses; hay umbrellas, stereo speakers around the pool-system; bar and grill (international staff and outgoing); privacy and young environment; internet in the hall (cheap);

Far Out Hotel: Best place to stay on IOS
This is the best place to stay. They have rooms and bungalows and it is right on the beach. They also have a pool and two places to eat. A bus will pick you up right in front to bring you to the bars/clubs in the center square.
Unique Quality: Excellent view. Very clean with your own bathroom.

Harbour Campsite: Almost camping on the beach
The campsite is located just around the harbour from where the ferries dock. It is very easy to put your tent up as the ground is so sandy - but remember if it goes in easy, it comes out easily too in the strong winds that the island gets.
Unique Quality: There is a great view of the harbour. It is in a quiet location if you can't stand the pace of the nightlife.
