Popi is NOT a campground
Note: This tip is in response to an erroneous tip by another member.
"Popi" is most certainly not a campground, but a small rooms-for-rent establishment right outside Adamas, as Orkaena reviewed it.
UPDATE: Both "Popi" and the Vichos Travel Agency are currently out of business and put up for sale.
2007 UPDATE:"Popi" was just sold out and now operates under new management.
The only campground in Milos is Achivadolimni Milos Camping in Hivadolimni, 7 km. away, on the other side of the bay of Milos. There is absolutely no way to confuse the 2, but apparently that's what happened here.

CAMPING WITH A VIEW
THE ONLY CAMPGROUND IN THE ISLAND.
DURING AUGUST REALLY CROWDY..
I WAS A LITTLE DISAPOINTED BY THE PLACE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO PUT OUR TENDS...NO TREES AVAILABLE.
IT HAS THOUGH A GREAT VIEW TO THE SEA AND THE LAKE UNDRENEETH
Unique Quality: BUT... THE CAMPING PLACE INCLUDED A NICE RESTAURANT AND BAR
PLUS A SWIMMING POLL..!!!!
SHOWERS AND TOILETS WERE AVERAGE CLEAN BUT LIMITED FOR ALL THESE PEOPLE.
ANYWAY....... IF YOU ARE YOUNG AND JOYFULL YOU CAN MANAGE ANYTHING!!!!

FAMILY AMBIANCE
We've got reservations at the Popi Hotel from Athens (like always, our friend Constantinos...)
Frontsea, modest, clean and cheap, is managed by a woman and his childs.
Located at more or less 100 meters from the port of Adamas area, where the restaurants, bars and almost everythings are concentrated.
I recommend it if you don't have great expectations about luxury or full services.
Just enjoy the tranquil life going on.
Unique Quality: Close to the port, frontsea with public parking at few meters, clean, friendly.
