How is the Paradise Beach Resort?
Hello,
I am planning my trip to Mykonos. I am traveling by misled and was considering staying in one of the beach cabins in the Paradise Beach Resort. I am traveling on a budget, which is why I was considering this place (25 euros a night). Have you guys stayed there before? If so, is it nice or you can recommend another place instead?

Hi again, i didn't stay there but i saw the cabins, its like ur doing camping but inside a room nothing more :)just a room and 2 beds toilets and shower are 50 m far from the room... , the location is good its on the best beach in Mykonos and there is bus transportation from to the city 24 hours ticket 1.5 Euro to go and same to come back... Maybe u like it....

Travel Tips for Mykonos
by local bus, taxi or car
There are several buses that connect Mykonos town with the beaches (like Paradise, Super Paradise, Platis Yialos etc) many time each day till midnight. The bus station is at Hora, in fact don’t expect any bus station, you will see the buses parked all together next to a square :)
There are also some taxis but sometimes you will have to wait long enough for one to come.
Alternative you can rent a car or a bike and things will be better for you. There are many companies, ask some of them for prices etc (usually around 50 euros per day)
LOCAL TRADITIONS
Every morning a women would go around the island pulling this donkeys.
In the baskets, fresh fruits and vegetables.
She will go through the streets stoping at every corner to chat with the locals.
Pelicans
There are some pelicans living in Mykonos. They are the most special citizens!!!
You will have more chances of finding them walking, swimming or sleeping (they don't usually go out during the night but they usually sleep siesta!!) around the port.
Mykonos Island
Mykonos , another Cyclades island , is five hours by boat from the mainland with stops at Syros and Tinos depending on the boat.
Mykonos provides access to the Island of Delos . The ruins at Delos are sparse but if you are into Greek history I guess you are obliged to go there.
Mykonos is a party island with a large gay community , which were not visible in January .
