walk every single of the very small streets - there are so many things you may discover and mostly these streets are so very narrow, that you may walk in the shade while the sun is burning down on the town.

Leave me here forever...
In looking at Blue Star it shows several fare types.
Can anyone tell me what is the best. We won't need a bed because it is only
5 hours? But what is the difference in the seats in economy or business??
Thanks
There are two sub-categories of economy seating. The least-expensive is open deck seating around basic plastic tables and chairs, some under cover, some not, all first-come-first-served. The other, for just a few euro more, is aircraft-style reserved seats in a separate indoor lounge area. You can still get up and walk around the ship. Business class is a better quality, separate indoor lounge area that those with economy tickets are not permitted to enter. Really, the economy aircraft-style lounge seating is the best deal going, especially for such a short trip.
We bought the cheapest tickets available; we're the type who like to be up and about anyway, wandering around the ship, sitting up on deck, watching the views, trying to name the islands we pass, taking photos. Sitting copped away indoors, even with a steward to bring us drinks, just isn't for us. The ferries are great; we went on the Naxos, Paros, Ithaki and Superferry II - I think SF II was my favourite, though the others are more modern and faster.
Athens to Mykonos is a 5 hour ferry trip? We are traveling there mid October. What is the best way to book ferry passage?
When you get to the Athens Airport find the travel desk of Amphitrion Holidays in the Main Hall between exit/entry doors 2 & 3. They're open 24/7 and can sell you the ferry tickets you need.
You are so helpful. Thanks Brotherleelove.
There are dozens of ticket sellers at the port of Piraeus, they can also point you out where to get the specific ferry.

La Notte is the place for the Greek Music Lovers. It's the place where you will find Greek Music. You will find Clubing - bouzouki and contemporary Greek dance music on the play list. Anything which makes you feel confident and comfortable.
Dilos is included in the World's Cultural Heritage, protected by the UNESCO. This small island was used, in ancient times, as a religious and cultural centre and it is also known as the sacred island of Apollo.
Delos is a great escape from busy Mykonos and is a truly moving experience if you do just a little homework before you go, so that you have an understanding of the significance of this place. Delos is located very close to Mykonos and is an easy day trip. For 1000 years it was a holy sanctuary and then it became known as the birthplace of Apollo and his twin sister Artemis. Around 800 BC many temples and sanctuaries were built here, mostly by aristocrats from Naxos, in honor of Apollo. Though the island was later pillaged by pirates and many of the old estates ruined, many of the incredible mosaics have remained.
Before anything, you'll need the following for an enjoyable visit:
1. Comfortable shoes
2. Sunscreen
3. A Hat.
4. Water and maybe some food
5. A guided tour or guide book of the sights on Delos
There are boats running about three times in the morning and the trip only takes about 20 minutes. They leave from the old pier in Mykonos Town and you ca buy your tickets right at the boat. We took the 10 AM boat and returned with the 13:15 boat--and this was just enough time because it is very hot and there is no shade. We also had a guide on the island and it was SO much more interesting than it would have been without a guide.
We hadn't intended on visiting Mykonos on our trek through Greece, but luckily everything conspired in such a way that we were able to experience this beautiful island. Our itenerary had us scheduled for 5 nights in Ios. However, once we got to Ios, we found it to be desolate and somewhat boring. I had thought that it was going to be a huge party, but I guess it doesn't really pick up until July and August. After cutting Ios short, a travel agent convinced us that we had to go to Mykonos. He was right.
I didn't think that I would enjoy Mykonos as much as I did. I was under the impression that it was all posh nightclubs and snooty rich people. I could not have been more wrong. Mykonos is home to some of Greece's best beaches and best shopping. My only regret is that we had just two days to spend here. Hopefully I'll be able to return someday, but in the meantime I'm just happy that I made it at all.
