Big Stone Birdhouse
by chrissyalex
During one of our early morning walks, we came across this huge stone birdhouse located right above Paradise Beach. It had to be at least 12 foot tall! Click on the picture to spot a few birdies! Believe it or not...as you can see from the picture...It was cloudy that morning! Cloudy in Mykonos in late June! There were even a few rain drops! Yes, it does happen once in awhile, but I guess not that often. It didn't last long though, after less than 2 hours, the clouds totally disappeared and it was sunny ,warm and clear! :-)
MS NICHOLAS

Yachts of all description can be found in the port of Mykonos. Flags of many nations beyond Greece can be seen. Once a week, you will also find the MS Nicholas as she makes her way around the Cycladic circuit. Say 'Hi' for me.
GOD ONLY KNOWS

Visiting Mykonos and the towns with Mykonos Town (Hora) as the main town, you notice that all the homes and buildings are white, real white, with colorful window frames, shutters, stairs, and doors. Many of these buildings are not homes or businessess but have a cross on the top, and these are the, God only knows how many, churchs of Mykonos. Some say over 250 to play it safe. Others say there is one for every day of the year. Most likely even more exist. Walk around the towns of Mykonos and see how many you can count. Not only large churchs, but smaller churchs, with some having only room for one person. Many are located in beautiful positions on the Island, some structures are designer models others just walls and a top, some with red accents, some with blue accents. Maybe that's where the song "My blue Heaven" got its name for it surely looks like what I think heaven would be like.
Delos
by zindara
Delos is a small island close to Mykonos (20-30 minutes by boat).
Delos is one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece, and the most important one in the Cyclades.
This island had great temples, buildings, houses and so... now, there are some ruins, but still it is worth a visit (spend at least 3 hours, more if you want to visit the museum and go up the hill), if you like history.
Mykonos

Mykonos is just a beautiful place to vist. It is especially great for couples. The reason for this is this island happens to be a where gay people enjoy vacationing. This does not say that there is no eligible women here but they are just scarce.
