We booked a room through booking.com although normally we just arrive on an island and search on site. Although a double room costs 50euros during high season (july-august) it was down to 30e in early May (and can make be a bit cheaper if you plan to stay more than 2 days but you have to call).
Letta Studios is located at Apollonia, at main ring road of the village, 10’ walk from main square or following the alley opposite the rooms you get in 5’ at the famous pedestrian alley where most pubs and restaurants are. There is a bus stop opposite the front door which means you get the bus and you arrive at the beach (Platis Yialos, Vathi etc) in 15’.
We arrived at about 13.00 for check in at LETTA STUDIOS but there was no one there and had we had to call her, another couple was waiting with us at the front door from UK (the man told me that had been in Sifnos 50 times!)…
Letta’s son arrived after some minutes and showed us our room. It was very simple double room as expected for this category but clean.
The room had 2 single beds, a fridge, a closet, A/C and a small TV. The small WC/Shower was also clean. If you book a studio apartment you will have some a kitchen corner too.
There were 2 windows in our room, one facing towards the main road and one at the back side towards Kato Petali (pic 3), as you can see on pic 1 we had a small balcony on the right which was ideal, there was a table with 2 chairs there, perfect for some relax in the lazy hours when you just need a cold coffee and a book.
There's no breakfast here but the stores are near and you buy your own stuff and eat at the balcony.
Great surprise on Great Saturday morning when Letta came and brought us a small busket with red eggs and poulia (local brioche that are made for Easter week).
Directions: at main ring road around the village, 3' walk up from EKO gas station
