Greek home in Oia
I've already mentioned this, but I really like the clean look & smooth edges of these Greek buildings and the brightness of the white paint. The blue trim & blue roofs add just enough color to break up the potential monotony.

Saying goodbye to Oia (Santorini) is probably one of the hardest thing to do on this trip. It's been an extraordinary experience & one that I'll remember for a long time to come, if not forever. Landscapes such as these will be hard to froget, don't you think?
with the many architectural elements at play all along the cliffside of oia, it wasn't hard to find good photo opportunities with the beautiful mediterranean in the background.
the picture above i simply call "cruise ship hovering above chimney as though chimney just recently spewed cruise ship out in disgust."
this one i call "big bell tower brother."
there is so much to see behind every closed door in oia. if the door happens to be locked, don't worry, just peer to the side and you'll still see the view!
this one i call "dome wearing a mudpack."
this one is entitled " steeple with dreams of flight."
this one i didn't have to name, it was very obvious, "steeple yearning for his girlfriend on another island whom he'll never see because he's cemented to the top of a building."
what i'd give to live in any one of these houses - amazing views everywhere you look!
then again, there'd be tourists snapping photos all around you, can't really go out into your balcony butt-naked to stretch after waking up in the morning.
oh well, i would still love to live here. can't imagine getting sick of this place and that view.
really hope to come back here one day.
