Rent a jeep on Tinos (the third largest island of the Cyclades) and just drive around to check out the sights.
In Volax, we ate at O Rokos (see below) and visited an interesting museum that featured items from typical Greek island life (ask for directions at O Rokos - there are no official opening times, but the owner is usually hanging around and will open it up for you. No entry fee - but donations accepted).
Kolymbithra (on the north-central coast) has a great sandy beach in a quiet bay - excellent for swimming. The east side is usually crowded, but the west side is pretty vacant.
Panormos (on the north-western coast) is a nice fishing village which also has an excellent restaurant 'Apaghio'. Here they will fry up the fresh fish of your choice - yum!
