Tinos Resort: Summer 2010
We went for business to Tinos Island in the middle of July of 2010 and we stayed at Tinos Resort four three days.We were so pleased with the service, the hotel rooms(suites), and the hospitality of the owners that we changed our summer vacations that we had already booked and pre-payed in another island. It's near to the new port, and near to the center of the island(3 min walk). The rooms were very cosy and clean with a taste of luxury. Great facilities. The owners were very polite, smiling all the time and ready to serve you anytime of the day and give you anything you will need to make your stay there more filling like home. It' s not only a family hotel it's also for young people with good taste. The breakfast was hand made from the owners and very delicious.
I will definitely suggest this hotel to anyone that wants to go to Tinos island and spend quality vacation there. Tinos Island is a great place to go, with very nice and clean beaches with sand, nice places to go and relax, have fun, very good food and not necessary expensive!
I will definitely go next summer to Tinos and stay at the same hotel and see our new good friend Antony(the owner)!

Nikoleta Rooms: Great place to stay
Stayed at Nicoleta Rooms in May 2010, and can thoroughly recommend the experience.
We had a ground floor apartment, which had plenty of space and direct access to the beautiful garden.
It's only a short 3-4 minute stroll from the Harbour and the local beach and very close to a decent supermarket and bakery.
Nicoleta is a lovely host and very helpful; and if you visit see if you can spot her favourite lizards in the garden.
We'll be back!
Unique Quality: Fairly quiet location. Beautiful garden where you can have breakfast or sit and chat in the evening.

Aeolos Bay Hotel: near the town
We had a night longer than planned in this hotel. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the town and harbour and it looks out over the bay and a little beach. The first room we had was pretty basic and in fact was at the back of the hotel so we had a view of the new road they were building and not of the bay. The first night there was a large group of travellers from Spain in the hotel and they were very noisy with banging doors and shouting along the corridors. When we went to breakfast the first morning the dining rom was absolutely full of people and smoke - the smell sort of hit you as you entered. We very very glad to take our breakfast out onto the patio and eat there. The second night it poured with rain, a terrible storm and the water could not drain away fron our balcony so even through it wa dry for part of the day we coud not sit there. We were supposed to move on to Mykonos that day but the storm stopped all the ferries and we had to have an extra night in the hotel. We asked for another room and they happily gave us one overlooking the bay. That room was actually much better than the first one and we could sit on the balcony in the evening.
Unique Quality: The first night was very noisy but the next morning the group moved on and we were actually the only guests in the hotel. That had advantages - quiet, less smoke in the dining room although the owners/workers seemed to sit there all day smoking. It also had disadvantages though - no hot water in shower in the evening, a breakfst that was absolutely measured out and nothing extra if you were still hungry.
There was a pool but it was empty and anyway it was too cold to swim. The gardens were lovely to sit in while we waited to hear if the ferries were going.
We are not very fussy about hotel rooms if they are clean and we can sleep they are often fine for us so we were satisfied - but only just. The best thing was that the hotel was within easy walking distance frm the town, harbour and restaurants.
Aeolos Bay is located just at the edge of Tinos Town, in the area of Agali, less than an eight-minute walk to the town centre

Pension Irini: A familiar place to stay
This is avery personal tip: If you can, go there! We have been there twice and really enjoyed it!
...
The Pension is located east of Tinos town about 2 km up from the sea (the next beach is wonderful Sosis beach).
It is managed by a Andrea from Switzerland - she enjoys having guests from May to Oktober each year.
They are superfriendly, know the island and its attractions for years and are eager to help with anything one wants:
excursions to the most interesting places on the island
walking trips
help with renting a car or motorcycle
which restaurants are good
which beach is good at what day (depending on weather and time of year)
plus: he (Thomas) is a superb cook
and she (Andrea) is an excellent massagist (for example foor massages etc which she also does on appointment for some hotels on the island)
They offer Transfers from Tinos harbour or can get you at Athens Airport
Unique Quality: Very familiar place with e quiet relaxing surrounding.
There are different rooms to rent in the pension.
Rooms for 2 or 3 people as well as a big one that sleeps up to 6 persons.
I would really recommend a stay with them
(we sure will be back!)

Vidalis: a quiet and pleasant family-run hotel
Vidalis is a medium–sized hotel (about 40 rooms), build in a traditional Cyclades architecture style – white-washed houses with painted windows and doors. it is located 100 meters from the sea (a three-minute stroll).
My room, spacious and extremely clean, had a very pleasant design with white, biege and green being the main colors. It had a lot of sun light and a great view on the hotel’s inner garden. It was spacious and extremely clean. The bathroom, simple but clean, had a toilet, sink and a shower. There was a fridge in the room.
There are single, double and triple rooms which cost 50, 60 and 72 euros respectively.
the breakfast costs additional 8 euros. though we took it, I would recommend going for the breakfast a nearby tavern where you can get a much bigger variety for the same price.
The prices are negotiable especially if you come off season. You can request a special offer if you come mid-week or 20% discount if you come as a group and occupy 10 rooms.
Unique Quality: the hotel provides a pick up from and to the port; you can also catch a free ride with the owner to the city center any time he goes to meet other people at the port.

Tinios Hotel: Nice and handy location
Nice hotel along the waterfront. If coming off the ferry walk into town and then walk another 200 metres along the coast to come across it.
Rooms pleasant, clean and comfortable.

Nikoleta Rooms to Let: Cheap, clean rooms in Tinos Town
I arrived at Tinos in October 2005 with nowhere to stay. My plan was to find a tout around the port (this isn't usually difficult in the Greek islands!) or simply walk to the nearest hotel. I was determined to pay no more than 25 Euros for a room.
Within seconds of stepping off the ferry I was approached by the energetic Nikoleta. She showed me the glossy pictures in her brochure, gave me the sales pitch, then offered me a room for 15 Euros. Ok, that was easy!
Before I knew it, my bags were in the boot of Nikoleta's car and we were making our way to the accommodation (a 3 minute drive from the port) - but not before Nikoleta had tried to lure a couple of French tourists to come along with us!
The accommodation consists of a handful of immaculately clean bedrooms with shared bathrooms on the hallway. Rooms have comfortable beds, a fridge, a balcony, air conditioning, satellite TV. Although the bathrooms are shared between 3 or 4 rooms, in October the rooms were far from full so I never had a problem with waiting for the bathroom. This may be more of an issue in the summer months.
There is a shared kitchen downstairs in which guests can use the facilities to prepare their own breakfast and there is a spacious garden with tables at which you can enjoy your breakfast outdoors.
It is a 10 minute walk to the port and centre of town and 5 minutes or so to the nearest beach at Agios Fokas.
Whenever a ferry arrives at the port you can be certain that Nikoleta (and her car) will be there waiting to pounce on the new arrivals. Do yourself a favour and go along with her - you'll get a great room at a great price!

Anemoessa: Not the best choise..
The apartments are located in a very beautiful part of Tinos island. But the rooms are not very clean and the service was not very good.
