Sacallis Inn Hotel
The Sacallis Inn Hotel is situated behind its own beach, with its restaurant and attractive new swimming pool immediately behind the beach, and the main hotel building beyond them. The hotel fronts on to the main (but not too busy) road across the island.
Although on the small side, our room was very comfortable, and had a balcony with attractive views both out to sea and over adjoining gardens beyond the hotel's car park. The only problem with it was the air conditioning, which although effective and not too noisy, had only limited controls, as a result of which, if we left it on at night, we would get an unpleasantly cold draught round our necks!
We had half board, and the food was generally excellent, although there was no choice of desserts, and they were sometimes rather uninteresting.
We were well looked after by the owner and staff throughout our stay.
