Again, as in Rhodes, mopeds are a very popular way of getting around. Hardly anyone on one of these wore a helmet, despite spot checks being made.The town is compact and bicycle hire was also popular - a better option I think, especially for the short ride out to Asklepieion.
Cost is about 3 euros per day for bicycle hire.
