Decent deal in main town

The room was a bit tight with a small balcony facing other buildings at the back of the hotel. Basic, clean room. The hotel has an elevator. Breakfast available for 5 euros. Also, drinks available in a communal refrigerator for extra charge.
It's within walking distance of the basic Kos sites, restaurants, bars, etc. The downside is that it can be a bit noisy, even though it's probably not as bad as other "downtown" places. The front of the hotel faces a not-very-busy street. The motorcycle/car noise comes from the main street by the water which is 2 blocks away.
Partying/loud behavior not tolerated.
Payment in cash only.

Unique Quality: Mr. Alexis, Ms. Dionysia and the rest of the family who run the hotel are most friendly, helpful, and hospitable. They provide good suggestions about how to get around and where to eat, and they'll call a taxi for you.
