This place has it all! We flew into Kos late at night and took Taxis to Michalis Studios. Manos, the owner, waited up for us. Manos does everything here to make his guests feel welcome and at home. Although we got in late, he made us drinks at the bar and even offered us food. The next morning he was up at his bar/restaurant. He cooked us a ddelicious breakfast and them helped us set up bike rentals. When we came back he made us lunch and called a taxi for us to get us to Kos Harbor. Manos went above and beyond. Another great thing is that this place is a great deal. We spent a small amount of money realtive to the service we received. The room were clean and neat. This is not a luxury hotel for those that want a "hotel" room, but a great deal for those that are looking for one.

An excellent place to stay in a perfect location within Kos. Mad nightlife, best Greek Island we've been to. Manos is fantastic, cheap beer, lovely pool and clean appartments, highly recommended! Will definitely come stay again if we chose to go back to the island.
Well I don't know how everyone else is putting good things about Michalis because, we as a young couple found it to be like a prison camp and the staff didn't make us feel welcome or offer to help with anything you asked, infact it felt like it was too big a deal for them. We were constantly being told was not to do. Even when we didn't do anything wrong you were waiting for a row for something. One couple got a row for dirty sheets, another for jumping into the pool. We were blamed for arguing at night when in fact it was not us, but they didn't apologise until the last day by then they had spoiled our holiday. On principle we decided not to spend anymore money with them. My advise is if you are booked in here unless you are over 60 CHANGE YOUR APARTMENTS! Try Nicon down the road the staff there are really nice and friendly and we spent most of our second week at their pool because they were so nice. Selection of food was good as well.
When we arrived, we were more then pleased with the amazingly clean apartment, which is what matters the most. To wake up and have a grand breakfast most mornings...started the day off well. The pool was lovely (a bit cold when you first dip your toe in but refreshingly goodl!!!) to lay by, a really relaxing atmosphere! Then the night entertainment with Manos is what made the stay, He's a really freindly, funny guy and was always there ready to pour a cowboy (a must try!!!). So overall review is a great, relaxing, clean, entertaining and a lovely stay. A must if your visiting the lovely island of Kos.
Stayed here on my first visit to Kos, and we just keep going back.lovely apartments run by a great
family. Not too far out of Kos town , within easy
bus ride.plenty of shops ,bars and resturants in
walking distance.
The pool is great and the poolside bar is handy for snacks and drinks during the daytime ,and is the only place to be for a late night drink .

had a fantastic holiday in these appartments. were made feel so welcome . appartments great and kept spotless. really friendly atmosphere. Manos and his mother went out of their way to make our holiday one to remember. will definitely be returning in the near future.
we were met with a warm hello from MONOS, & his mom HARRIETA, they were very helpfull, for the 2 weeks we were there
the apartement was clean,the towles & the sheets were chanege every other day.
HARRIETA cooked a brill full english bearkfast,that kept us going till the evening.
MONOS's bar was seving till every one went to bed,
MONOS was a good laff, & a bit of a nuta late of night.

Nice clean rooms, lovely pool, good breakfast, but above all that Good old laid back Manos who managed to create a very relaxed and social atmosphere. Cheers Manos, see you again
me and my family loved michalis apartments, we discovered it on a package holiday and it was very clean and had a lovely pool and was in an excellent location we hope to visit in 2005.
Excellent place to stay, was very clean and well maintained and we were well looked after by Mano's and his family. Very relaxing and lots to do.
